Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass — Get, Download & Reprint

Everything about your Singapore Airlines (SQ) boarding pass: how to get it, re-download a lost one, mobile vs printed, and airport timings.

Verified June 2026
How to get your Singapore Airlines boarding pass: Singapore Airlines offers three ways to check in: Auto check-in (turn it on at least 48 hours ahead), Online or mobile check-in from 48 hours to 1.5 hours before departure via singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir app, and Airport check-in at least 50 minutes before departure (counters or self-service kiosks). Your digital boarding pass lives in the SingaporeAir app.

Lost it? How to re-download your Singapore Airlines boarding pass

Re-open the SingaporeAir app or Manage Booking to download the digital pass again, or use an airport self-service kiosk or counter. If your first segment is operated by a partner airline, check in with that partner.

Mobile vs printed pass

A digital boarding pass is fully accepted. Singapore Airlines notes that if you are travelling with cabin baggage only, you can proceed directly to departure immigration with your digital boarding pass — no counter stop needed.

A mobile (digital) boarding pass is accepted at Indian airports by the airlines that issue one — there is no official rule requiring a printout, and Delhi Airport markets fully paperless domestic travel. That said, carry a valid government photo ID at all times (it is checked at terminal entry alongside your boarding pass or ticket), and for international departures most airlines still verify your travel documents at the counter before issuing the final pass.

Airport check-in fee & gate timings

Singapore Airlines does not charge for airport check-in — counters and self-service kiosks are the standard free options.

The boarding gate closes 15 minutes before departure (your exact boarding time is printed on the boarding pass). Airport check-in is available until at least 50 minutes before departure.

International Singapore Airlines flights

On flights from India, document checks are handled at the counter where required; with cabin baggage only you may go straight to immigration with the digital pass. Partner-operated first segments must be checked in with that airline.

Using DigiYatra (paperless airports)

DigiYatra is the free, optional facial-recognition system at 38 Indian airports (including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Navi Mumbai). You enrol once with Aadhaar, but you must upload your boarding pass for every flight and share it with the departure airport (the e-gate scans the boarding-pass QR first, then your face). It is domestic-only — international departures are still on the roadmap — and passengers travelling with infants cannot use it. Even DigiYatra users should carry a physical government photo ID.
