Qatar Airways Boarding Pass — Get, Download & Reprint

Everything about your Qatar Airways (QR) boarding pass: how to get it, re-download a lost one, mobile vs printed, and airport timings.

Verified June 2026
How to get your Qatar Airways boarding pass: Qatar Airways online check-in runs from 48 hours to 90 minutes before departure (24 hours for US flights). Once checked in you can print the boarding pass, send it to your mobile phone, or email it — and the Qatar Airways app gives you a digital boarding pass under My Trips. The check-in portal is cki.qatarairways.com.

Lost it? How to re-download your Qatar Airways boarding pass

Re-send or re-download your pass through the Qatar Airways app or the online check-in dashboard (cki.qatarairways.com), or pick it up free at the airport check-in counter.

Mobile vs printed pass

The app digital boarding pass is an official, accepted channel; otherwise print it or show the mobile/email copy. To check in online you need your passport details, Advance Passenger Information (APIS) and PNR/ticket number; wheelchair-assistance passengers must check in at the airport.

A mobile (digital) boarding pass is accepted at Indian airports by the airlines that issue one — there is no official rule requiring a printout, and Delhi Airport markets fully paperless domestic travel. That said, carry a valid government photo ID at all times (it is checked at terminal entry alongside your boarding pass or ticket), and for international departures most airlines still verify your travel documents at the counter before issuing the final pass.

Airport check-in fee & gate timings

Qatar Airways does not charge for airport check-in or a boarding-pass reprint (full-service). The only money risk is missing the check-in cut-off — that is treated as a no-show and can cost the fare value, not a pass-printing fee.

The check-in counter closes 60 minutes before departure in Economy and 45 minutes before in First and Business. Qatar Airways advises arriving about 3 hours before departure.

International Qatar Airways flights

On India departures Qatar Airways verifies your passport, visa and APIS — there is no separate "confirmation slip" step before the pass is valid. Make sure your APIS/passport details are complete during online check-in, or you will be directed to the counter.

Using DigiYatra (paperless airports)

DigiYatra is the free, optional facial-recognition system at 38 Indian airports (including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Navi Mumbai). You enrol once with Aadhaar, but you must upload your boarding pass for every flight and share it with the departure airport (the e-gate scans the boarding-pass QR first, then your face). It is domestic-only — international departures are still on the roadmap — and passengers travelling with infants cannot use it. Even DigiYatra users should carry a physical government photo ID.
