General Cancellation & Reschedule Notes

Scoot fares (Basic/Value/Flex/ScootPlus) are non-refundable for a change of mind, and Scoot's paid "Cancel Your Trip" voucher add-on is NOT sold for India routes — so for Indian flyers a Scoot ticket is effectively non-refundable. A cash refund to your original card arises only if Scoot cancels or significantly retimes (2+ hours) the flight; medical/compassionate cancellations are refunded as Scoot Travel Vouchers (valid 12 months). Unused government/airport taxes are recoverable on written request within 90 days, net of an admin fee. A no-show forfeits the fare (contact Scoot within 48h to keep a return leg).

Date, time and name changes (not origin/destination) are allowed up to 3 hours before departure for a change fee (Scoot Fees Chart) + fare difference; if the new flight is cheaper the difference is not refunded. Flex fares waive the change fee (fare difference still applies).

Consumer protections: Statutory government taxes are typically refundable on request even for non-refundable fares. EU261 (for EU departures), US DOT rules (for US departures) and similar consumer-protection regulations may also apply to your booking.
