SpiceJet prices international cancellation and changes by SECTOR, not by fare brand: SpiceSaver, SpiceFlex and SpiceMax pay the same amount on the same sector. The 96-hour split applies internationally too, and everything inside 96 hours is one bracket. Cancellation closes about 2 hours before an international departure.
SpiceJet charges ONE flat DOMESTIC cancellation fee per time bracket across SpiceSaver, SpiceFlex and SpiceMax: ₹3,899 more than 96 hours before departure and ₹4,899 inside 96 hours, per passenger per sector, or the fare paid if that is lower. Note the split is at 96 hours, not the 48 hours most carriers use, and SpiceJet treats everything inside 96 hours as one bracket, so cancelling at 48 hours costs the same as at 4 hours. Cancelling through the call centre or an airport counter adds ₹250 per passenger per flight. There is no fee at all if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and the first flight departs at least 7 days later. A no-show forfeits the entire fare, with only statutory taxes refundable on request. Refunds take 7 working days for online bookings and 14 working days for tickets issued through a travel agency. International cancellation is charged by sector and is higher.
